Best Time To Visit Morocco
A Year-Round Destination
Morocco is an incredible year-round destination, with each season offering something unique to visitors. The ideal time to visit depends on your travel preferences and what activities you're planning to experience.
Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November) are considered the best times to explore Morocco. During these months, the weather is mild, making it perfect for sightseeing, trekking through the Atlas Mountains, visiting the Sahara desert and exploring the vibrant cities.
The Summer months (June to August) bring hot temperatures, especially in the desert and inland cities like Marrakesh and Fez, where the mercury can rise well above 40°C (104°F). We recommend exploring coastal destinations like Essaouira and Agadir, or Northern Morocco, with its milder Mediterranean climate.
Winter (December to February) offers cooler temperatures, making it an excellent time to visit Marrakesh, the Sahara Desert and the Atlas Mountains for camel rides and trekking.
